Publications for Carmen Lange

Carmen Lange

Carmen Lange was born in Cardiff and worked for South Glamorgan libraries while studying for her librarian's charter at Gwent College of Technology. After what she describes as 'an horrendous divorce' she fulfilled a lifelong ambition when accepted unconditionally by the prestigious Institute of Archaeology, London. An honours degree in Near Eastern archaeology was followed by a Master's at the School of Oriental and African Studies to research the art and archaeology of China.
A regular contributor to the Permanent Waves annual art exhibitions in Cardiff until she had major surgery, Carmen studies Chinese ink painting, makes lace and quilts. A Millennium Award Fellow and twice recipient of Arvon Foundation bursaries, she is a published poet and academic author.
