Carole Morgan Hopkin

Carole Morgan Hopkin was born in Cardiff but brought up and educated in the Swansea Valley. She graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff. However, an early diploma course at Cardiff College of Art led to a lifetime of painting and drawing as a commissioned artist in the UK and the USA. Carole began her acting career with the Welsh National Opera and Drama Company, which led to many West End appearances. Having written since childhood she took up writing professionally after a seven year stay in America, living in New York, Florida and California. Back in her home town as a freelance writer her most recent publications are with Poetry Wales, The New Welsh Review and Gomer, who publshed 'Full Circle', a biography of photographer Llew E Morgan. Carole is an Associate Tutor in Cultural Studies and Personal Development for the University of Wales, Swansea.
