Publications for Dahlian Kirby
Dahlian Kirby was born in Billingham, Teeside and began staging plays in her back garden when she was seven. In 1976 she moved to Cardiff to attend the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. In 1978 she wrote a play with her friend Sally that was staged at the Sherman Theatre - it didn't make her any money, unlike the shows she did in the garden when she was little. She has since had several plays staged in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh and has continued to avoid wealth. A few years ago she pinned down her ambitions as being: to live by the sea, to have a collie dog and to have a short story published by Honno. She has now achieved all three.
