Kim Davies moved to Anglesey as a teenager and has lived there ever since. She left school and worked in sports and leisure prior to spending several years at home raising her family. After her younger son started school she returned to the world of education, gaining a degree in English and a PGCE. Having taught at the local FE college for several years, she now works as a project co-ordinator at Bangor University.
