Linda Baxter
In 1990 Linda gave up teaching Modern Languages in order to write, but suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage which damaged the language centre of her brain. She began the slow and arduous process of re-learning her mother tongue. In 1996, she and her husband moved to Pembrokeshire where Linda found the inspiration to write again. When her son Timo was murdered, writing became a release valve for her grief, pain and anger. 'Losing Timo' is her first full-length pubished work.
