Penny Simpson

Fiction writer. She studied at Brighton Art College and Essex University, and is now a freelance journalist and marketing/press relations consultant. Her short stories have appeared in anthologies from Bloomsbury, Honno, Parthian Books and Virago. She was the recipient of a 1999 Arts Council of Wales travel bursary, enabling her to visit Berlin to research a novel. She has also published a collection of short stories, [italics:DOGdays] (Gomer).
