Success for 'Cold Enough to Freeze Cows' in The People's Book Prize (31/03/2011)We are thrilled that 'Cold Enough to Freeze Cows', the latest wickedly humorous novel from Lorraine Jenkin, has now been shortlisted for 'The People's Books Prize' - an award especially created to give the public the chance to choose its favourite new authors. There are no judges, winning entries are chosen purely by the number of votes. Each month the novel with the greatest number of votes goes forward to the final round, from which the People's Book of the Year is chosen.
We are delighted to announce that Lorraine's book received the greates number of votes in February - so thanks to everyone who voted for her. We wish her all the best of luck for the final.
