Tiding by Siân Collins released today
Set in Glanmorfa, a fictional Carmarthenshire town, Collins draws inspiration from her own childhood to craft a masterful tale of mystery, curiosity and imagination.
Eleanor O’Dowd, a middle-aged piano teacher, is found stabbed and bludgeoned to death. As the Great Freeze takes hold, local vicar’s daughter Daphne Morgan and her friends find themselves attempting to navigate the confusing currents of the adult world.
Daphne finds herself engulfed in mysteries far deeper and more painful than she expected in this breath-taking story.
Tiding is an exploration of death, the afterlife and how a child can become a victim of adult power.
